What is an Electronic Statement (eStatement)?
An Electronic Statement, or eStatement, is a paperless account statement that is accessed via your on-line banking. It is a faster and more environmentally friendly alternative to receiving a traditional paper account statement via regular mail.
Do I have to sign up for on-line banking to receive an eStatement?
Yes, you will access your eStatement via our on-line banking system.
Will I continue to receive my paper statements in the mail?
No, by choosing eStatements, you will be enrolled to have access to electronic statements 24/7, at your convenience. You will also have access to 18 months of statements and check images. You may switch back to US mail statements at any time.
Will my statement cycle change?
No, your statement cycle will remain the same. The only change in timing will be that you will receive your account statement on the first business day following the end of your statement cycle period – no more waiting for the post office to deliver your statement!
Will my eStatement look the same as my paper statement?
Yes, your eStatement looks exactly the same as your paper statement.
Will I receive my check images with my eStatement?
Yes, you will receive the check images with your eStatement.
Will I be able to store and print my eStatements?
If you can save files to the PC hard drive or some form of removable media, then you will be able to store your eStatement in that manner.
Can I receive an eStatment for all of my accounts?
eStatements are available to any CNB customer with a checking or savings accounts. We can also customize to combine your CD's or other accounts to your checking account statement. Please contact us to customize your relationship.
How will I know when I can see my eStatement?
You will receive an email from CNB informing you that your eStatement is available for you to view via on-line banking. You will receive estatements monthly.
What if I change my email address?
In order to continue receiving your eStatement notification, you need to notify us of your email address change. This can be done by emailing us at email@example.com, or by calling our online support line at (516) 4978-9111 ext 146 during normal business hours.
Who should I contact if I don't receive an email?
If you do not receive an email from CNB, or if you have further questions regarding your eStatement, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or contact our Online Banking Department support line at (516) 498-9111 ext 146 during normal business hours.
What are the minimum requirements for the computer that I will be using to retrieve my eStatements?
The following are the minimum requirements you will need for CNB's eStatement program: A PC running the Microsoft Windows 95 Operating System (or higher) or MAC Internet Access Adobe® Reader®
What is Adobe Acrobat Reader and why do I need it?
Adobe® Reader® 6.0 is free software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (pdf) files on a variety of hardware and operating system platforms. You will need this free software installed on your computer in order for your computer to download, display or print your statement and images.
How do I sign up for eStatements?
Simply log into cnbny.com and enroll for e-statements under the accounts tab.
You may also enroll at your local branch.
